Engine Masters Automotive

These people prey on those who don’t know better including those with disabilities! Did $2300 of work on my disabled friends vehicle and when he picked it up the check engine light was on and ac no longer worked. They hooked a scanner up and said it was the ignition coils and that they didn’t touch it (you must remove them to replace valve cover gasket that he had replaced 🤦‍♂️) and that they would no longer be working on his car rather then taking a quick inspection to make sure it wasn’t simply a missed connection. Bad coils could be coincidental but why not double check your work and why not explain and possibly make another sale rather then shoeing someone away after taking that much mo…

My 05 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3 with 190k miles had been running rough. Local Chevy dealer recommended a new engine as my number 3 cylinder was damaged. The dealer quoted 4K for the engine and 4K for labor plus $500 for shop supplies. After searching online, I called Engine Masters and talked to Steve. Same engine 1/2 the labor and a two year nationwide warranty at any Chevy dealer. Steve is very knowledgeable and I brought my rig in. When I picked up my vehicle the first thing I noticed was how clean the engine compartment was. All the components put back on my engine had been cleaned. There was no greasy handprints or the smell of oil anywhere, especially inside my car. After The engine was o…

Had my Jeep wrangler stranded over a year in Flagstaff, I was looking for a reliable place who could sell and work on a engine transplant. After going thru many avenues I decided to fly over and look for specific mechanic shops and talk directly to the owners. That’a how I came to Engine Masters Automotive. I met Steve and he clarify all my d questions and doubts. You can really tell they know their business upon entering their immaculate museum quality shop. They did a fantastic job in less than a week and I had my Jeep running smoothly ready for the roadtrip. We drove it all the way back to Florida without a single issue. If you want to avoid being scammed for cheap, go with these guys, yo…

Replaced my 2.0 DOHC Engine on a 1999 eclipse with a remanufactured one they sold me. Overpriced for the swap and install which was 13k. Plus another 2.5k on extra parts that they recommend on replacing. I had no issues with them, until they had finished the car and took it out on a test drive. Long story short, damage was done to my car on the test drive and I had to pay and replace every part plus labor(2.5k+). This place is unforgiving and won't take any accountability. Besides that, they do great mechanic work and steve did his best to make things right with my situation. Unless you have the money, I wouldn't recommend this place. They do great engine work, but I don't tru…

1974 f250 Highboy; just a regular 460 V8, All I can say for over $10000 dollars and months being in the shop, considering they had to redo their work on the transmission, I kept getting excuses for exhaust tips they never provided but payed for. I payed for exhaust work and they pieced it together without the tips, I had to weld in myself, they threw existing new parts for motor in back of truck no box or anything and put old parts back on. Went to get my truck for the second time and the Mechanic Levi got Extremely violent but I held my ground and got my truck out of there. We people/customers have no say so, these people can rip you off and have no conscious. They have no Honor! We are ret…
