Came in for a $29 oil change (Groupon)—left with an $84 quote, a blank stare, and a strong desire to never come back. Seems like a steep price for an oil change on a 2012 Corolla, when I can get the same service for my 2021 Tacoma for less. Customer service was so poor that I would just rather give my money to someone else.

They provided an oil change and an overview of what needed to be done to my car. The most important maintenance was apparently shocks and struts. I had them checked out by my personal mechanic and my shocks and struts were in perfect condition and they quoted me 2300 for something I didn't even need.

Went in to check on a ball joint replacement. They ended up giving me a whole list of things to be done. Including having my brakes done and my rotors!! My brakes were checked a few weeks previously by another auto shop, and I was told they are fine. They tried to come up with the excuse that my rotors experienced excessive heat, and that is why my brakes and rotors needed to be done. Even though …

I have been going to Performance Automotive for over 10 years. I have always found Randy and his staff customer oriented. They are upfront and honest about the work needed and the cost. The work is done on time and the cost is always what you are quoted. Best of is all is the loaner they offer you. Mike S
